Level of position:Classroom Teacher

Position Information:

  • This temporaryposition for three days a week and will be for the duration of Terms3 & 4 – 2016.
  • The EOI will be based on applications submitted and referees.

Brief Role Statement:

  • Capacity to operate in a classroom environment and monitor high quality learning.
  • Supervision of various aspects of the School plan.
  • Understanding of high quality Early Action for Success outcomes with students from a range of learning backgrounds.
  • Capacity to share a teaching and learning role with other classroom teachers.

Selection Criteria:

  • Approval to teach K-6 or secondary with proven success in the delivery of quality culturally inclusive teaching and learning programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students through innovative programs to achieve outcomes.
  • Proven capability to manage a complex and diverse learning environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships and partnerships within the school and community.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and oversee the successful implementation of the school plan.
  • Current school based experience is helpful but not essential.
