Senior Accountant Sought

DRW seeks a senior accountant, preferably a Certified Public Accountant, in our Spokane office. Experience with federal Single Audits (formerly known as OMB 133 audits), Washington state audits, Abila MIP nonprofit accounting software, and Concur Expense/Invoice a plus. Five or more years of accounting experience and a demonstrated interest in disability issues or other social justice issues preferred. DRW’s budget is approximately $4,500,000 and while the accounting department is small, there is a potential career path for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Given limited accounting staff the successful candidate will be expected to perform a range of a duties necessary for efficient fiscal operations and will need to be familiar with and capable of performing all accounting and financial duties in the absence of DRW’s Controller who is based in DRW’s Seattle Office. This will include but not be limited to: preparing payroll; managing cash receipts and disbursements; preparing various operating reports; monitoring expenditures; assisting in budget preparation; preparing for annual audit; preparing the IRS 990; administration of the general ledger, posting accounts payable and receivable; and running trial balances.
