BOSNIA: we welcome Mrs Pat Henry this weekend to update us on the work of St Joseph’s charity among the needy, in and around Medjugorje. We have a second collection to help the continuing work.

CHARITY SKYDIVE: Bela Brown (Confirmation & COG Catechist) unfortunately due to high winds & 5 hour wait, her skydive for Multiple Sclerosis Society was postponed. Bela would like to thank everyone who is supporting her and will let us know the new date.

LITURGICAL ITEMS: the stained glass appeal raised more than the cost of the windows and so a Chalice and Monstrance has been ordered from Rome, with that money in memory of those listed on the brass plaque & other benefactors.

NOAH ENTERPRISES: collection of clothing, bric-a-brac, books & small electrical items next weekend.

LUTON FOODBANK: thank you for your continuing support and generosity. They also need more volunteers with the school holidays rapidly approaching as demand increases dramatically.

Bishop Peter opens the Cathedral Holy Door / YEAR OF MERCY PILGRIMAGE
Pope Francis encourages us to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Door during this Year of Mercy. Our Deanery of Luton are making the Pilgrimage to Northampton Cathedral on Saturday 24th September where Bishop Peter will celebrate Mass for us at 12 noon. Please take this opportunity to mark the Year of Mercy in this special way. We have coaches from the Luton churches. You can book a seat on the coach by completing the form below and returning it in an envelope with payment, through the Presbytery letter box. Please book seats this week before the holidays so that we can order the right number of seats on the coach. Servers, bring your robes. All should bring a packed lunch.
