This month’s Board of Directors’ Meeting will take place on October21stat 6:30 PM in the clubhouse. All residents are welcome and encouraged to come.Tree Sculptors will be our guest speaker giving us tree maintenance recommendations for the entire association.

The Water Meter Readings will take place on Thursday October 21st and 22nd. Please keep your pets out of the yards and gates unlocked on those days to allow Bob easy access.

HALLOWEEN PARTY: October 31st from 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Volunteers needed to plan and run the party. Clubhouse decorating will take place on Saturday October 30th starting at 5:00pm. Please contact the office if you are interested in helping. Candy donations will be taken prior to the purchase of any candy, please let us know early if you will be donating candy.

(We will be looking for volunteers for the Christmas party in the near future, as well.)

WATER METER READING REMINDER:

Please remember our handyman must have access to all backyards to read your meter, unless you send in your own read prior to invoicing on the 25th of each month. This means gates need to be unlocked, dogs must be inside, and your meter cannot be covered by items such as shrubs, or other landscaping items. If we do not have access this is a violation and carries a $25 fine.

VIOLATIONS COMMITTEE:

Due to our resident’s input and concerns about the number of violations, our board has established a Violation’s Committee to help keep our community looking great. If you are interested in helping out please call the office.

POOL UPDATE:

The pool was officially closed on September 27th, and is scheduled to re-open on MemorialDay Next year.

Come one come all, COMMUNITY GARDEN is in our future:

Santa Barbara Home Owners Association is applying for grant money to develop a community garden. We are in the planning stages and your thoughts and participation are needed. If you want your own garden spot please attend the meeting at the clubhouse on October 13th at 6:30 PM. This cannot happen without your participation.

  • Help needed to repair our guard shack. A budget has been approved and we are ready to “raise the barn”!
  • Fence Planning Committee members needed!
