Directions:

605 Freeway North to 10 Freeway South, Exit Fairplex Drive and go North. Make a left at Via Verde Drive. You will pass a Golf Course and Stables, you will make a Right onto Camper View Road (If you get to the “Bonelli Park” Gate where you have to pay to enter you need to turn back and make a left on Camper View Road) you will pass hot tubs and the Ranger Station, keep going straight until you see the “Office & Market Ranger Rec. Hall” on you right hand side. Make a right here, stay to your right, you will head down a hill. At the bottom make a right and we are on the grassy hill on the left hand side.

Arrival and Check-in Procedures:

Arrival is on Friday, we check in at 1:00 p.m. so you are welcome up any time after that. Dinner will be on your own. We will provide drinks and snacks later on that evening. Check out is at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. We need to make sure we leave “No Trace”.

Uniform:

Cubs and Leaders are encouraged to wear class B uniforms on travel days. (Pack T-shirts if you have them)

Food Assignments, Menu and Times:

To Be Determined and given out at a later date

What to Bring:

In addition to your personal clothes and toiletries…you will need to have:

  • Tents and Sleeping Bags
  • Camp Chairs
  • Flashlight & spare batteries
  • There are no tables so if you have some and you would like to bring them that would be great.
  • Easy Ups
  • Games (Uno, marbles, chess, a basket ball (we have our own basketball hoop), horse shoes, volleyball, racquetball etc...
  • Firewood for Campfire
  • Bicycles & Fishing Poles
  • Scout knife (Whittling Chip card must be in your possession. No card – No knife)
  • Scout Spirit
  • Den Skit or Song for Campfire

*This is a tentative Schedule which is subject to change. The only activity that is mandatory is the Opening Ceremony and that you HAVE FUN!!*
