Santa AnaCollege offers Real Estate License Renewal

and 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange Seminars

Santa Ana College Community Services Program (CSP) this summer is offering a mixture of one-session seminars in June and August focusing on real estate and tax deferment. Both seminars will be held atSanta AnaCollegeroom R-124.

On Wednesday, June 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. CSP will feature the 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange workshop. On Saturday, June 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., CSP will offer the California Real Estate License Renewal seminar titled “45 Hours of DRE Test in Half a Day.” Both seminars can assist students with the necessary skills required to succeed in these fields.

The 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange seminar provides information on the immense benefits of property ownership. Students will gain skills on how to reinvest income earned from relinquished property and learn why the utilization of this program is one of the best shelters for deferring capital gains tax in property investments. Course topics will include state withholding laws, federal laws, tax exchanges, updates and benefits. The 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange seminar costs $39 per person or $59 for two. The course is conducted by instructor Debbie Bannister who has continually taught tax-deferred exchange courses throughout OrangeCounty.

“The 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange seminar will provide investors the required tools needed to benefit from the tax shelter law,” said Bannister. “Without knowledge of the tax shelter law, investors will not have the crucial education necessary to most advantageously increase their wealth.”

California Real Estate License Renewal “45-Hours of DRE-Test In Half-A-Day” seminar is an approved workshop for all California real estate salespersons or brokers in need of license renewal.
