OTHER RESEARCH EXPERIENCES

Led a project to identify and evaluate role of Rural Health Care Providers (RHCPs) in National Health Programs. Created the study design and coordinated data collection. Based on the field research issued recommendations to the Comprehensive Rural Health Services Project Ballabhgarh for integration of RHCPs into village health centers where there is shortage of doctors. 2006

Designed the questionnaire and coordinated data collection in a field study conducted in an underserved urban community in New Delhi, India. The study aimed at assessing awareness and attitude towards the role of institutional deliveries in ensuring maternal and child wellbeing. The findings were presented to Family Health Advisory Services, AIIMS 2005

Conducted interviews among young females of reproductive age in an urban community in Delhi, India to assess their knowledge, attitude, beliefs, and practices regarding antenatal care and immunization. The study was conducted in coordination with Center for Community Medicine, AIIMS. 2005
