Assistant Director and Lecturer
The Student Counseling Center at Tarleton State University is seeking applications for an Assistant Director and Lecturer (non-tenure track) to start in the Fall 2016 semester.

THEDEPARTMENT
The Student Counseling Center is a department within the Division of Student Life. Located on Tarleton’s main campus in Stephenville, the SCC offers confidential counseling to students experiencing personal problems that interfere with their academic progress, career or well-being.
DUTIESOF THE POSITION
The Assistant Director is expected to assist with administrative direction and supervision of the staff and programs of the Student Counseling Center including: individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation with faculty and staff, psycho-educational programming, assessment, and training. The Assistant Director will serve as a liaison with University offices and staff regarding campus mental health issues and interventions.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral degree in clinical/counseling psychology or related field; Texas licensed professional counselor, Texas licensed psychologist, or actively working toward licensure in Texas; 3 years of counseling experience;Experience with psychometric testing, report writing, and client feedback; Clinical counseling supervision experience, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
SALARY
