Raffle and Auction Rules and Regulations
1. RAFFLE WINNERSThe SCI Badgerland Chapter (referred to as Chapter) must report raffle winners with a prizeRetail Value over $600 to the IRS on Form WG2 Miscellaneous Income.In order to claim your prize, a “Raffle Winner Receipt” and /or Federal Firearms Form, must be completed with your name, address, social security number and other required information. Persons unable to legally accept or possess raffle items (firearms) will be paid the lower of our cost price, or $500.
2. PAYMENT Payment must be made the day of purchase. All non-hunt items must be picked up the day of sale or raffle.All hunt information packages must be picked up upon payment. BE SURE YOU GET YOUR HUNT PACKET FROM THE CASHIER. Items or hunts not picked up will be considered a ‘no sale’ item.
3. ITEMS All items are to be picked up and transported by the buyer or winner. The Chapter does not provide packaging or shipping. Chapter assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss that my occur during packing or transportation. Items may be taken after payment, completion of the “Raffle Winner Receipt” and /or Federal Firearms Registration Form, as required.
4. SALES DISCLAIMER All items are sold or raffled ‘as is’. Chapter does not make or express any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the item or hunt’s description, genuineness, attributions, provenance, orcondition. Any warranties with respect to items or hunts are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacture or donor.
The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, Bruce Brock, shall be the purchaser. In case of dispute between bidders, the auctioneer, Bruce Brock, shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder. After each item’s sale, the successful bidder will be given a Auction Sale receipt for signature. For silent auctions a list of High Bidders will be circulated to each table.An Auction Sales receipt will be presented at time of payment for Silent Auction items. Silent Auctions will close at the start of the Live Auction nightly.
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter. SCI Badgerland Chapter does not guarantee the satisfaction of the buyer or the donor, the size ornumber of trophy animals or the buyer’s shooting ability. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds.

Includes lodging, meals, guide, transfer from Christchurch, NZ, all field trophy game care and game transport to taxidermist. Taxidermy and/or shipment of prepared trophies is the responsibility of the hunter(s). Also included are TWO red stags scoring up to 290 SCI ( bronze medal record book trophies). Deer may be upgraded and game added at brochure prices. Item # 14YOUTH PRONGHORN HUNT ChapterPresident Dave Ekkebus is donating a youth pronghorn hunt inWyoming for one Youth Hunter accompanied by a parent. Youth hunter must be 12-16 and possess their Hunter Education Certificate at the time of the hunt. License application must be completed with donor group by March 7 for a March 15 deadline. Youth license is $124. Draw history is 100% to date. Arrive in Newcastle, Wyoming on Sept. 30. Hunt dates Oct 1-3, 2010 or by arrangement with the donor however the season is usually only 14 days and only the opening date is set at this time. Donation includes motel lodging, meals and hunt field transport for the hunter and parent, private land hunting access, field game care and transport to the meat processing facility and meat processing. I will accompany and assist buyer at all times. Parent may upgrade to hunter status for $500 to cover costs and adult license is $286. Does not include transportation to/from Wyoming, trophy caping or taxidermy or adults meat processing. License (s) NOT included. I have hunted this ranch annually since 2002 and our groups have a 100% success rate on 23 pronghorns, 9 by first time pronghorn hunters, about half met the SCI Record Book minimum . Shots are normally 75 - 150 yards. We hunt for 'nice' representative pronghorns and the big ones just happen. Local area hunts run $1600-$2500 for three days and some hunt public not private land, some do not include lodging and meals and none provide processing. Your child's first western trophy PRICELESS!
Item # 15 LATEGAN SAFARIS Our good friend Bennie Lategan has once again donated a super hunt for two hunters. This is a great hunt with many of our chapter members hunting with Bennie in the past. If you are the high bidder your safari will be for 7 days. You will be picked up at the nearest airport after your flight from the USA to Johannesburg and then to the local airport, Bloemfontein SA. You will have an experienced African Professional Hunter (PH), trackers, skinners, all safari camp staff, daily laundry service, all meals, field transportation and care of your selected trophies. The donation includes $1000 each hunter towards your trophy fees so you can choose to hunt whatever excites you from the long list of available game species. Taxidermy, shipment to the USA , tips etc are the buyer’s responsibility. Item #16 NORTH DAKOTA PHEASANT HUNTING Lloyd Rossow has once again donated one of his great wild pheasant hunts in North Dakota. This is a 3 day hunt for one hunter for Oct 9 - Nov 15 2010 ONLY. Rossow Ranch is located just south of Flasher ND and about 45 minutes from Mandan/Bismarck area. Includes 2 nights lodging. ND license and meals are hunter responsibility. You may add other hunters for $500 each. Bring your dog, good boots, have a great time. Many Badgerland members have enjoyed hunting these wild long-tailed roosters over the past many years that Lloyd has been donating. The donation includes an over-night stay at their Bed and Breakfast near the Pheasant Creek and Ripon, Green Lake, Markesan for fine dining after your hunt. Item #23 CIRCLE S RANCH FAMOUS VARMINT HUNT! 3 night 2 1/2 day varmint hunt for ONE hunter in southern Saskatchewan, Canada. Circle S Ranch provides a first time guest with the fun opportunity to shoot and shoot and shoot the wily and not so wily Canadian gopher, a mini black-tailed prairie dog. The rolling hills of our ranch are infested with these varmints. Hunters can expect to see up to 2000 a day. This is an excellent opportunity for young hunters to get experience. Our oldest "kid" last year was just 74. Any small caliber rifle is suitable but shooting can be non-stop so bring more than one. We recommend at least one rimfire (.22 or .17) and lots of ammo. Schedule your trip for open dates between May 20 and July 15. Included are all meals, modern cabin accommodations, trespass fees, guiding and hunt transportation.
