Fundraising
Rockies tickets-
Rockies tickets will be handed out the first week of March, after tryouts. Each player will be required to pay $800 by March 17th. This gives each player 9 tickets to 4 Rockies Baseball games. In participation of the Rockies ticket sales program, the Varsity team gets to play a conference game at Coors Field. This year the Varsity will be playing on a Saturday, March 18th at 4pm. It is free to come and cheer our team on!
Coach Diaz and the SaberCat Diamond Club want to continue with the Rockies ticket sales program. We feel that this program gives parents the opportunity to recoup some of their cost.
SnapRaise-
If you have not heard of this fundraiser before, please check out their website:
Ryan Echer from SnapRaise will be at the field on Monday, March 6th to meet with all coaches and players to explain the fundraiser and film a video. He will come back on Wednesday, March 8th to follow up with the team.
Banners-
Please go to the SaberCat Diamond Club webpage, print off the Banner Petition Form (found in the Documents tab). Also, there is a spreadsheet of the area businesses that have already been approached. Please keep in touch with Mike Kelly, , about which businesses you have been in contact with and if you have any further questions about banners.
Legacy Brick-
Please see the webpage!
This is going to be an incredible fundraiser. All players, present, past and future can have a brick in their name at the field.
Concession Stand-
We are still extremely interested in a few parents forming a committee for the concession stand. The Loomis family has graciously donated all of the meat (hamburgers and hot dogs) for the season. Once teams are decided upon the games start quickly. There will be more information and sign up emails in the near future about getting the concession stand ready!
Summer 2017 Baseball
Summer fees will be due in full 6/1/2017. There will be 4 teams.
18U--$2500, this fee includes travel to 3 out of state tournaments, Connie Mac league and local tournaments.
17U--$1600, travel to Omaha, Connie Mac league and local tournaments.
16U(2 teams)--$1400, league play through GameDay, local tournaments.
At this time, due to CHSSA rules on when coaches can contact incoming Freshman athletes, Coach Diaz is setting up a Youth Coordinator. This position will provide someone that can be in contact with the younger athletes.
IT DOES NOT MATTER TO COACH DIAZ WHERE YOUR PLAYER PLAYS IN THE OFFSEASON! Each player is welcome back to the Spring program and every player will go through the same tryouts.
Reel Recruits
Phil Stafford was able to come to our meeting and give a quick presentation about their program. He is currently working with 3 of the Castle View Baseball program’s players. They help build a resume/profile for athletes that want to play at the next level.
Please contact him if you are interested.
