A.R. Bazaar –

  • PRT’s volunteered to stay one day a year to help with the A.R. Bazaar with monitoring and bagging.
  • Ruth Miller also volunteered to be Purchasing Chair for A.R. purchasing.
  • It was decided to stay almost once-a-month A.R. Bazaar, with six Bazaars during the school year, not beginning until October 22nd.
  • It was discussed that the Specialists would take the students during specials – teachers would drop them off in the gym with their money in hand, specialists would take those with money to the Bazaar, and other specialists would monitor those without money.
  • Set up and pricing would be by grade level teachers.
  • Tear down by EC/ESL/Intervention

Specialists Requests/Comments

School-wide posting – no A.M. specials during EOG testing or retesting

Specialists do not get copies of IEP’s – they will assign themselves to one teacher per grade level. They will contact those teachers to get needed information on students with IEP’s and/or other issues, and then will communicate that information to other specialists.

They also wanted to let grade level teachers know they are available for parent conferences if they are needed.

Specialists would like quarterly plans to help them coordinate with each grade level.

It was decided that Quarter Plans due dates would be part of the calendar. Dates were decided upon, based on at the end of the next week after a teacher work day. These dates are:

1st Quarter: Due Sept. 3rd

2nd Quarter:Due Nov. 5th

3rd Quarter: Due Jan. 28th

4th Quarter: Due Apr. 8th

It was suggested that the quarter should also include the first two weeks of the next quarter. Grade level chairs are responsible to get the plans on the shared server no later than these dates.
