Responsibilities

  1. Music

•Lead worship at all RYM summer and YLT conference. If conferences overlap, find replacement worship leader & band that will be consistent with RYM’s philosophy of music.

•Coordinate with sound technicians for each conference.

•Record 2 RYM albums per year

•Consult with youth ministers who need help or advice building a music team in their youth group.

•Create and maintain RYM song bank on website with chords charts and acoustic demos of every song.

•Develop & execute a strategy for performing concerts at churches

•Produce new music for RYM & the church

  1. Writing/Teaching

•Write devotionals for RYM conferences

•Assist the Director of Resources with RYM blog & podcast and provide consistent material under his guidance.

•Write bible study series & devotional material on Scripture & Hymns

•Write yearly VBS curriculum and music for children’s ministries as a reach down strategy for RYM

•Teach elective classes at RYM conferences

•Raise Your Own Support

Reports Directly to the Director of Resources
