(1) Marathon (42.195km) – divided to 13 groups, completed within 5.5 hours.
(2) Half-Marathon (21.0975km) – divided to 13 groups, completed within 3 hours.
(3) 10km - divided to 13 groups, completed within 1.5 hours.
(4) Fun RUN (5km) - completed within 60 minutes.

Marathon/42.195km: The start is along Min Quan Road outside the Taipei Government House ─ Tai Zhong Gang Road Section 1 & 2 ─ up Situn Ring Road on Jhong Jhang Expressway 74 ─ along the Expressway 74 towards North ─ turn round at the end of the Expressway at Beitun ─ along the same Expressway towards South ─ turn round at Yongchun ─ along the Expressway towards North again ─ turn round at the end of the Expressway at Beitun ─ along the expressway and turn round at Yongchun ─ leave the Expressway through the ring road connecting Huanjhong Road ─ Shihjheng North 2nd Road ─ Section 2 Hueilai Road ─ finish next to the New Civic Centre (Summer Green Park)

8. How to register:
Race Events (Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10KM, 5km):
All runners interested in participating in the marathon, half-marathon ,10KM or 5 km race events shall first fill out an entry form and make the payment. The CTRRA will send out a notice to pick up your race package materials about one week prior to the race event.

You can register on-line at the CTRRA website: www.sportsnet.org.tw (available in Chinese only).
(3)Register by Mail:
You can also register by post to the CTRRA mailing address: P.O. Box 47-110, Taipei, Taiwan, Tel: (02) 2585-5659. Please make sure that you have included all required documents and expenses (completed entry form, photocopy of your ID, all entry fees, etc.).
Note:The registration deadline is August 27, 2009. The CTRRA will not be responsible for any incomplete registration information or procedure which does not meet the registration deadline. If you have not received your race package pick-up notice by September 25, 2009, please promptly contact the CTRRA Tel: (02) 2585-5659.
uPlease bring your ID documents with you. Anyone 17 years of age or younger wishing to register in the marathon must be subject to review and approval from the CTRRA.
Size L Racing Singlets will be used for Entry Forms that have no size selected.
w Applicants must be in good health and have a passion for life and sports. The T-shirt size may not be changed after signing up and there is no return of fee after signing up.
xIf the number of competitors for race events becomes full prior to the scheduled registration deadline,
no further applications will be accepted. Please check the CTRRA website for any announcements or
updates on registration and whether or not the race events have become full at
http:/www.sportsnet.org.tw.

9. Race preparation (race packet pick-up):
Direct Race Package Pick-up: (racing bib number and souvenir)
(A) Date: September30, October 01 2009 (Wednesday-Thursday) 9am to 5pm.
Location: CTRRA Office: Room 206, 2nd Floor, No.55, Changji St., Datong District, Taipei (Enter the Lan Chou Market and take stairs to the 2nd Floor)
(B) Date: October 02~03 2009 (Friday-Saturday) 10am to 5pm.

u Please bring your pick-up notice with you. You should receive the pick-up notice from the CTRRA about 1 week beforehand。
v If you are unable to pick up your race package, you can have someone else pick up your package on your behalf, but your representative must still bring your pick-up notice. The CTRRA will not be responsible for any mistakes made in picking up packages on someone else’s behalf.
w If for some reason you still have not received your pick-up notice by the day you need to pick up your race package, please bring your registration receipt and ID with you for picking up your race package.
Race Package Received by Mail (In Taiwan only)
If you wish to receive your package by post mail, please indicate on the entry form as instructed during registration (additional postal fee required)
u Please be sure to indicate the proper address on the entry form to mail the race package. The race packages will be mailed to the indicated address 3 days prior to the race event.
The CTRRA will not be responsible for race packages that for some reason could not be delivered and were consequently returned to the CTRRA. If your race package for some reason was returned to the CTRRA, you can pick it up at the CTRRA office during office hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 12 Noon and 1:30pm to 5pm) up to one week after the race event (March 16-20). One week after the race event, any race packages remaining unclaimed at the CTRRA office shall be discarded.
w Please note the additional cost for receiving the race package by mail during registration. The cost for mailing a package for less than 5 entrants is NT$130, 5-20 entrants: NT$600, 21-50 entrants: NT$1,200, 51-100 entrants: NT$1,800, 101–200 entrants: NT$2,400., more than 200 entrants: NT$3,000.
Race package Pick-up at the Race Event (please avoid pick-up on race day if possible)
u If for some reason you are unable to pick-up your race package in person before the race competition, you can pick up your race package at the race event with an additional fee.
v An additional cost amounting to the same amount as that for receiving the package by mail will be charged for receiving the package at the race site.
w Please bring your pick-up notice or registration receipt and ID with you to pick up your race package at the site from 5:00am to 5:30am. There will be no pick up of race packages at the race site after 5:30am.
ï If you do not pick up your race package in time you will automatically be forfeited from the race and not permitted to enter the race course.
ï Participants who registered but were unable to pick up their race package may pick up their race packages in the week following the race event (October 5-9) during working hours at the CTRRA.
11. Awards:
(1) Prize of reward: Cash prizes will be awarded to the top winners of each level defined below. For a personal prize of over NT$ 19,999, 10% tax for local runners and 20% for foreign runners will be charged (bring a copy of your ID while receiving the prize). The top overall finishers will not receive prizes for placing in the top age group finishers.

l 42KM/21KM/10KM events will grant trophies to the race winners at the rate of 2 winners for groups having 1-50 participants, 3 winners for groups having 51-100 participants, 5 winners for groups having 101-2000 participants, 8 winners for groups having more than 201 participants.
l To encourage the elder runners, the top 10 winners of the men’s group age above 70 and women’s group age above 60 in both the Marathon 、 Half-marathon and 10km race events will be granted trophies.
l The Top three winners are granted trophies for the visually handicapped group (both men and women).
l All winners please pick up your award prizes before 12:30p.m., or else they will be regarded as given up.
l The record certificate will be sent to the runners about five weeks after the competition. If runners do not receive the record certificate before November 16, 2009, please inform the CTRRA A.S.A.P.
l All runners who run the 42.195KM and 21KM and complete the whole course within the limited time (11:30am / 09:00 am )will receive a finish medal and towel.
12. Champion Chip:
Runners of 2009 TBIM Taiwan Boulevard International Marathon &2 8th Supau Sports Drink Run
will employ timing for determining the race results. A NT$100 chip deposit is required at race registration which can be retrieved immediately after the race event. If you can not obtain your chip deposit on the day of the race event, you may obtain your refund at the CTRRA office in Taipei within one week after the race event. No chip refunds will be granted more than one week after the race event. Please follow the directions for attaching the CHIP and check that it is fastened properly.
