Considering the weather we had promised all week it was a relief
to get through the day without any thought of cancelling, I pray that the
rest of the seasons events are so lucky.
A big thankyou to Mike Addiss & Brian Nightingale for being our ever
reliable timekeepers. Geoff Hayes, Harry Bowler & Ken Garrett for
marshalling the corners, John Leach for holding up at the start and a
special thanks to the ladies doing the refreshments. The competitors,
without them there would be no event.
Last but definitely not least Harry Law for his support to me in my first
attempt at organising such an event and also for placing all the event
signs and checking the course. Thanks Harry.
