7. / Working Hours / Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. However, there may be the requirement to work out of hours on Thursday evenings to facilitate change management. Comcare does offer a flexible working environment.

10. / Services/work required / Overview:
Comcare has recently developed a digital strategy that is effectively a business and cultural change strategy. The digital strategy will support Comcare’s key objectives and outcomes through:
Offering digitally-enabled services to all its customers through simple, personalised digital interfaces
Using digital technologies and practices to reduce costs, improve efficiency and empower staff
The digital strategy is designed to be a holistic business change programme that will:
Meet the Federal Government’s Digital First policy direction;
Ensure Comcare complies with the DTO’s guidance that all transactions with over 50,000 instances are digital by 2017;
Help reduce administration costs by addressing productivity issues associated with core systems;
Transition the organisation from paper based processes to digital processes where paper is the exception rather than the norm;
Drive cultural changes to improve the customer experience and ensure processes are redesigned with the end user in mind;
Enhance customer service for all stakeholders who interact with Comcare (including employers, service providers, regulators, employees (injured or not) and Comcare’s own staff).
The digital transformation programme outlined in the strategy is a major business change initiative that will require strong project management. This role will report directly to the Digital Strategy Programme Manager.
This senior project management role will be key for the delivery of a number of priority projects in the programme.
Activities:
The senior project manager will be responsible for the end to end management and delivery of a number of key application and business transformation projects within the Digital Strategy Programme.
The senior project manager will ensure that:
Projects are delivered according to scope, budget, timeframe and quality specified;
Project resources are managed and work prioritized;
Project reporting and status updates are provided as required;
Junior project resources are mentored and guided when required;
Provide leadership and guidance to the Project team and acts as a key influencer within the programme;
Lead a team that is responsible for the business analysis of complex business problems; recommend solutions and define what is required for changes to business processes.

13. / Limitation of liability – cap / Comcare will consider a liability cap at either; $10m per occurrence or $20m in the aggregate.

This role is for a software development focused project manager, not an infrastructure project manager.

Skill set:

The senior project manager will need:

10 years’ project management experience managing the design, development and deployment of large systems, applications, and business transformation projects;

Project Management accreditation;

Experience managing external vendors and internal development teams;

Experience managing all aspects of the software development lifecycle;

Strong customer focus;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Experience managing agile projects;

Business analysis skills
