1. Why do you want to be a volunteer camp counselor at Riveredge?

2. As a counselor, you will be asked to assist the camp leader in a variety of tasks throughout the camp day. Please describe your ideal relationship with a supervisor.

3. You will be asked to supervise and interact with campers as they participate in activities and as they play. You may also be asked to lead activities with small groups of campers. Describe an experience in which you led an activity or were responsible for a child or group of children. (For example: previous jobs or volunteer experiences, babysitting, interacting with siblings.)

Being a Riveredge counselor involves activities such as hiking, carrying equipment, organizing supplies, preparing snack, searching for insects & frogs, playing in the water, making crafts, gardening and sometimes getting rather muddy!
