Time, Cost and Quality while keeping risks to a minimum are the key output of a well-structured and disciplined project management organization.

Project Management is one of our key strengths. Our previous work completion shows a broad experience in running a telecom construction projects, especially within the NRO area. Working in close co-operation with a customer, our organization will reflect the division of tasks and responsibilities, as required by the customer, to implement a project while maintaining the agreed Scope, Time, Cost and Quality. This will be achieved through the use of internationally recognized project management best practices throughout our organization and with the customer.

Customer Benefit

The Total Project Management to provide the customer with the following benefits:

  • Common project management terminology with internationally accepted project management best practices.
  • Continuous monitoring of scope to alleviate unnecessary scope changes causing delays and additional cost.
  • Continuous monitoring of time to identify schedule slippage and implement corrective action to bring schedule performance into line with the project specification.
  • Continuous monitoring of cost to detect variances from plan and implement corrective action to bring cost performance into line with the project specification.
  • Continuous risk analysis to identify possible new risks and develop additional risks response.
  • Clearly defined scope using a Scope Statement and Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Clearly defined roles, responsibilities and interfaces.
  • Effective and efficient communications through a well defined Communications Management Plan.

Total Project Manager

The Total Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing the project toward its goal in terms of scope, time, cost and quality.

The activities in the Project Management are more or less the same in all projects, irrespective of project type or size. However, the size of the project and its complexity make different demands on the competence and skills of the Total Project Manager.

Total Project Team Members

The Total Project Management team members are responsible for supporting the Total Project Manager towards the project goals. They will be single or multi knowledgeable in the areas of Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communications, and Risk and Procurement dependant on the resource requirements of the project.

Sub-Project Managers

The Sub-Project Manager is the person who has been given the authority, from the Total Project Manager, to execute a sub-project. The Sub-Project could be divided by location or discipline and its manager is responsible toward the Total Project Manager for the sub-project. The size of the Sub-Project and its complexity make different demands on the competence and skills of the Sub-Project Manager.

Project Planning

This phase includes the detailed planning activities required to establish the Scope, Time, Cost, and Quality as well as identification of required activities, organizational structure and responsibilities, progress reporting routines and change control handling methods. All plans are re-viewed and agreed with the customer prior to project execution.

The outcome from the project planning phase is an approved Project Specification (Project Plan) inclusive of Project Schedule, Project Quality Plan and Project Communication Plan.

Project Establishment

The purpose of establishment phase is to set-up all agreements from the Project Specification. This work includes starting up reporting systems, controlling systems, plans for integration and plans for acceptance.

The rapid deployment of start up teams shortens the time of project establishment, and the Total Project Management can quicker focus on the project rollout.

The Project Establishment phase is concluded when the project starts to execute and rollout according the project specification.

Project Roll-Out

The purpose of rollout phase is to execute the project according to the approved project specification, to attain the project's scope, time, cost and quality. Work in the rollout phase includes, performance monitoring, corrective action, progress reporting, project review meetings, change control handling, work authorization and risk analysis and response.

The Project Roll-Out phase is concluded when the project has reached a final stage of acceptance and an outstanding item list (punch list) is defined.

Project Hand-Over

The Project Hand-Over phase is concluded when the customer accepts the project outcome and agrees to start the project conclusion.

Project Management Processes Groups

Project Management processes are organized into five groups with one or more process in each groupThe process group are linked by the results they produce – the result or outcome of one often becomes an input to another. Among the central process groups, the links are iterated – planning provides executing with a documented project plan early on, and then provides documented updates to the plan as the project progresses. These connections are illustrated in above Figure, the project management process groups are not discrete, one-time events; they are overlapping activities that occur at varying levels of intensity throughout each phase of the project Deliverables.
