Retail Operations & Digital Analyst

As part of the market leading Frontline group, Seymour Distribution Ltd manages the magazine distribution of over 100 independent UK publishers. Together, Frontline and Seymour represent around 43% of the market, with Seymour accounting for 14% and growing. Included within the Seymour portfolio of titles are Disney’sPrincess, Disney’sFrozen, National Geographic,Men’s Fitness, The Lady and Slimming World.

An opportunity hasarisen for aRetail Operations & Digital Analystto join the Retail Operations team.The successful candidate will work with the national account team to aid them in theirsupport and management of the retail customer base. This role includes telephone and email contact with retailers and will require the building of relationships through these mediums.You will also be a central administrative resource that provides our clients and partners with a clear and consistent digital distribution service.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

To provide professional and efficient administrative support to Retail Operations internal and external customers

Maintain accurate information within various databases and systems

Manipulation and analysis of information supplied from Retail Head Offices, National Account Managers and E-tailers

The collation of various sources of retail /digital sales information in a proficient and timely manner

Updating and creating sales reports

Support Retail Operations department with any reasonable admin duties

This role requires a person educated to A level standard (or equivalent) with Intermediate/ Advanced Level of Excel knowledge, due to a high percentage of this role being excelbased.

The following skills / attributes are also required:

Commercial Awareness

Strong logical approach with excellent attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage efficient processes

Organisation and planning

Good communication and relationship building skills

Ability to collate informative reports using numerical data from various sources

 Initiative to drive change and improvement

Knowledge of excel formulae, macros and visual basic would be advantageous.
