Course Outcomes: At the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Evaluate hardware differences and their functions and describe input, output, processing, and data storage systems.
  • Demonstrate Word Processing understanding of move, edit, and delete functions within a document and use spellcheck, setting margins and tabs, and use of borders and shading.
  • Demonstrate proficiency of Excel changing column widths, format data, mathematical functions, screen splitting, textboxes, and headers and footers.
  • Evaluate the use of Access through database management.
  • Evaluate agriculture software explaining data entry and output from common agriculture software programs.
