Reid called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.

  • Advising Task Force where students discuss issues with advising
  • Planning a movie day this Monday, Nov. 5th at 7pm they’d like to show The Campaign and get students informed. Proposing a three way cosponsor between to include UPAC, Student Senate, and MSUSA. Food provided by Chartwell’s. Total cost is $696 (for the film) to be split evenly between the three organizations. UPAC to help with PR, including all-student email, tabling at the Gazebo,
  • RHA - delegates being sent to a conference to share ideas about activities on campus.

  • What about, “cannot win during the event; however, those who work it can hang afterword for two prizes saved for UPACrs.”

  • Motion: Derek makes a motion to have a $3 Bowling Night at Westgate Bowl on Saturday, December 1st, selling tickets to students for $3 and going on sale Monday, November 26th at 9 a.m. in the UPAC office.

  • Derek makes a motion to get 110 tickets at $48/each and two buses to the Sunday, March 10th 2013 Wild vs. Canucks game at Xcel Energy Center, selling tickets to students for $30 ($25 UPAC) and going on sale Monday, February 25th at 9a.m. in the UPAC office, limit 2 per valid WSU ID.

  • Danielle Stone makes a friendly amendment to the Oct 9th motion: moves to bring the group Mippy 5 on Friday Nov30 at 7 p.m. doors at 6:30 p.m. to play at Somsen Auditorium for no more than $600 including production.

  • The friendly amendment carries unopposed.
  • The motion now reads: Danielle Stone moves to bring the Oct 9th motion: moves to bring group Mippy 5 on Friday Nov30 at 7 p.m. doors at 6:30 p.m. to play at Somsen Auditorium for no more than $600 including production.

  • Will make the events for the motions that were passed today.

  • SE is doing posters including Masquerade ball
  • Note from Kim Melle: A non-perishable food donation is suggested but not required to get tickets to the masquerade ball
  • Concerts is chalking with PR
  • Discussion about the posters for the film
  • Hand-make posters during office hours and hang them
  • Lots of fun-colored paper!
  • Ideally at least one poster in every building
