Vice-Chairperson, Frank Stumpo called the meeting to order

Comments from Vice-Chairperson-

Treasurer’s Report- Current balance in bank account- $350,964.96as of July 6th. As of June 30th, we have collected $332,370.46 83% collection rate for 2016. 2017 outstanding- $11,133.12 (quarterly rate payors). 2017 delinquents est.-$30,000.00. 2016 delinquents- est.- $11,000.00.

Motion by Stumpo, second by Davisto approve the Treasurer’s report

Public Comment: Davis- Less delinquents from last year to this year? McLane- Yes more payments this year.

Manager’s Report-

●Insurances renewed

●2016 audit finalized and complete. Copy to DCED and Borough of Dormont

●Fall Borough newsletter due July 31. If anyone wants to add to our page, please do so as soon as possible

●Main Street event on Potomac Ave 8-12-2017- Stormwater will have a booth

●Wet weather event July 26, 2017 at Hollywood Theater, I will speak on behalf of DSWA

●Ad for High School soccer team

●Quarterly tax reports completed

●Meeting with Insight Pipe

●First car wash

●Will receive a list from Jordan Tax Service of all 2016 delinquents for collections

Motion by McLane, second by Davis to approve the Manager’s report

Public Comments:Palmieri- discussed contacting delinquent accounts. Fabus- did MOU have statement about liening properties? Taylor- it does not but will verify and notify Fabus. Stumpo- reviewed copy of MOU he had on hand- nothing states liens must go through council.

Board Discussion:Davis- hours for Main Street Event? Taylor- 10am-1pm. Davis- will be at the Hollywood event. McLane- everything fine with Audit to DCED? Taylor- Yes. Davis- do we need 2 complete audits to borrow money? Taylor-yes.

Motion by Davis, second by McLane to approve Minutes from June 28, 2017 meeting

Stumpo- Welcome John Heyl from LSSE- brief discussion of catch basins

Discussion on catch basin inspections and cleaning- Have LSSE review our inspection form. Stumpo-When will Insight start? Taylor- roughly 2 weeks. McLane- who decides what streets get done? Taylor- displayed map of southwest region of Dormont and highlighted inlets that will be completed.

Discussion on Stormwater report to Council- Councilman Robert Palmieri will attend Stormwater meetings and bring his own personal notes on the Stormwater meeting to the Council meetings. Council questions will be submitted to Frank Stumpo.

Stumpo- wants a Policy and Procedure Manual in place. Taylor- working on Financial Manual. Board will begin work on procedures and manuals.

Motion by McLane, second by Stumpo to make Administrative Manager emergency check signor subject to a new resolution.

Gary Klimowicz-1218 Oklahoma- still interested in joining board, has not heard yet form his HR dept.

Fabus & Palmieri discussed the tour of Dormont
