The Michael O’Donohoe Memorial Heritage Project Committee has issued an appeal for historic or old photographs which may help to illustrate the wide-ranging research findings now coming to light. Photographs may be brought into Tomo Burke's old shop - beside Hannon's Fashion Shop - on St. Patrick's Day from 12-30pm to 3pm where committee members will be on hand to take down information connected to any photographs presented.

Holy Spirt Prayer Meeting: with Moss and Janice Carrig at the Desmond Complex Centre, New Castle west on Sunday 13th March at 3.00pm.

Uniting our flames of faith. A gathering of prayer groups and people of prayer from the diocese of Kerry will be held in Killarney

On Saturday 12th of March at The Church of The Resurrection @ 11.30am concluding with concelebrated mass with Bishop Ray Browne at 4.00pm. It will be a day where the people of the Kerry Diocese will unite in prayer and celebrate the rich variety of prayer in our Diocese. Beverages and sandwiches will be provided. Everyone welcome.

ANNUAL CONSECRATION TO OUR LADY. The annual consecration to Our Lady (to celebrate her Immaculate Conception) will be held on Sunday 13th March at 3 p.m. in the Church of the Resurrection, Park Road Killarney. It comprises Rosary, short sermon, consecration and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. This event is organised by the Legion of Mary. EVERYONE IS VERY WELCOME.

DeafHear.ie will be holding an outreach clinic on Friday 11th of March 2016 from 10.30am – 12.30pm at Kingdom Voluntary Housing Association, Clogher Est, Hawley Park, Tralee. Bereavement Group information morning at Recovery Haven .Le Chéile' Bereavement Support Group meets on the second and Fourth Monday of each month. We are there to provide a safe space and a listening ear to those dealing with a loss through cancer.

We will hold an information Coffee morning this Monday 22nd February from 10.30-12pm for anyone who would like to find out more about our group.

Guidelines for Parents

1. Book Baptism through the Parish Office at least two weeks in advance.

2. Meet with Baptism team who help you to prepare:

a) In Castleisland Parents meet with Baptism team on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm in the Prayer Room.

b) In Scartaglen and Cordal by arrangement.

Baptism Days:

Castleisland Parish Church: 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 4.00pm.

Cordal Church: 2nd Sunday of each month after 9.30am Mass.

Scartaglen Church: 4th Sunday of each month after 10.30am Mass.
