I am thrilled to say 'welcome' to our 55th District Conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. We have planned an exciting and relevant program. Through times of fellowship and the workshops, you will have many opportunities to both reflect and contribute. I particularly encourage you to share your experiences and best practices - isn't that always the way we learn best? I believe so. Much effort has gone into developing our program; I hope you will enthusiastically share the information with those who could not be with us this weekend. The beautiful power of Niagara Falls makes it one of the natural wonders of the world. / Sept. 21 – Join us for a splendid reception to meet and interact with your board and Z.I. Director, Judith Anderson, from Australia. Substantial refreshments and cash barin the spectacular Mystic Lounge.
Sept. 22–Laughter, shared experiences and good conversation will be part of the social events booked for Friday morning and early afternoon. You may choose between a wine tour and a golf experience, both in the perfect autumn weather and in one of the most beautiful parts of the province.
We will commence our conference with a welcoming ceremony conducted bythe Strong Water Women. After our first business session, we can relax at Margaritaville for fun, dancing, karaoke, and meeting up with friends.
Sept. 23 – A full day of Zonta business including Area and Committee reports and awards. Lunch is in the magnificent Watermark restaurant-every seat has view of Niagara Falls. Our Saturday night banquet will include a highly amusing, inter-active dinner theatre.
Sept. 24 –Be humbled, amazed and impressed by our award winners as they share their successes and challenges with us. Our departed Zonta sisters will be honoured at the Memorial Service early Sunday morning. You will still have time to explore the Niagara region and sample local delights after our lunch-time closing.
