Subject:Guidelines and Forms for the 2017 National Chapter Award Competition
Attached are the guidelines and forms for your chapter to use in participating in the 2017 National Chapter Award competition.
Your project and publication reports, date stamped no later than February 1, 2018, should be emailed to Dr. Nancy Zeliff, Northwest Missouri State University, the judging chapter for this year’s competition. Your reports should cover the competition year of January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2017.
Please read the attached materials carefully prior to preparing your reports. If you have questions, please call or email me. Key points to note are as follows:
  1. Submit no more than three project reports: only one national report, only one community report, and only one local reportor one Service Learning alternate project report. Project reports submitted in addition to these reports will not be considered for points.
  2. Articles submitted for publication in Here and There are not considered as publication reports. Also, reports based on Here and There articles will not be considered for points. (Here and There articles are counted only once—as points counted by the National Editor.)
  3. Complete the Project Evaluation forms for each project (National, Community, and Localor Service Learning Alternate Project) and the Publication report. Reports submitted as both project reports and publication reports will be counted as publication reports only.
  4. Zip all of your files into one folder and email to Nancy Zeliff by the deadline of February 1, 2018. Projects datestamped after the deadline will not be considered for points. The zipped folder name will be your chapter number and name.
