Meet Schedule: 3:00 P.M. Varsity Girls 5K
3:30 P.M. Varsity Boys 5K
4:00 P.M. JV Boys 4K
4:30 P.M. JV Girls 4K
5:00 P.M. Awards Ceremony
Teams: Beresford, Bon Homme, Canton, Dakota Valley, EPJ, Ethan/Parkston, Lennox, SFC, Tea Area, Vermillion, Wagner
Awards: Medals to the first 20 place finishers in each varsity division.
Medals to the first 15 place finishers in each JV division.
Plaques for 1st and 2nd place in the Varsity Division
Awards Ceremony: There will be an awards ceremony to announce the top 20 in each varsity division, and to announce the varsity team champions and Runner-Up. ALL Beresford team members must attend the awards ceremony. If you get an award, please go to the awards area in your full uniform.
Team Scoring: Varsity is Limited to 6 runners. Unlimited entries in JV races. Scoring will consist of the first four (4) placers plus two (2) pushers.
Dismissal: 1:25 P.M. – Report directly to the golf course to get your number and chip tag
Rules Reminder: 1. The waistband of shorts cannot be rolled down.
2. Undershirts and compression shorts must be a solid color
3. Varsity Teammates wearing undershirts: ALL must be the same color (white or black)
4. Socks may be of any color or design
5. Bandanas, pre-wrap, caps, or hats are NOT Legal
6. Headbands and stocking caps are legal and can be of any color or design
7. Bobbie Pins or barrettes (maximum 2” in length) are legal
8. A single watch worn on the wrist is legal
9. No teammates may make contact or help a runner at anytime during the race. For example, you cannot help a runner up who has fallen or hold hands at the finish. If this happens, both runners are disqualified.
10. Jewelry is legal as long as you don’t overdo it
