It is estimated that over 30,000 Irish nationals emigrated last year. Services are provided in cities In England and the U.S. and elsewhere. Where our emigrants are in need these services seek to help. For example in recent years the services have sought to assist elderly Irish in need, and also, to provide outreach to Irish people in prison (estimated number 1,200), especially in Britain. Our diocesan collection provides much needed funds for these services. Be generous, - it is our own people that are in need.
