Grammar: Irregular plural nouns/formal and informal review (play previous week’s games to review at discretion or review orally)
Tuesday
Reading: Read through Celebrating Food and Family with students again; discuss author’s purpose and guide students toward discovering it; model using question words during discussion, then invite students to ask fellow students a question using one of the taught question words (child asking gets to pick who answers; if that next child answers correctly, he/she gets to pose a new question to a new student about the story using a question word, etc); students will complete question word worksheet
