Dear Parents/Carers
Re: School Uniform Code 2017/18 – Years 7 – 11
Maintaining a strict dress code plays a very important part of daily school life and ensures that our expectations and standards remain high across the whole school. I would, therefore, ask for the support of all parents so that we continue to be proud of our appearance and attention to detail.
To ensure that we achieve consistency please find enclosed a copy of the Hagley Catholic High School Uniform Code which details our requirements. Shops display stock as school wear or back to school wear, however, this does not necessarily mean that it meets the school standards. We would therefore ask that before purchasing any uniform that you consult the document on our website entitled ‘School Uniform Code 2017– 2018’ as this provides illustrations and further details of the type and colour/shade of skirts, trousers and footwear which are both acceptable and unacceptable.
Many items of our school uniform can be purchased through high street stores, however, we do not recommend a particular supplier. Uniform is also available to purchase from the school via Hagley Sports. Uniform, supplied via Hagley Sports, will be on show and for sale at school on the dates shown on the enclosed Uniform Order Lists. Please fill in the form and return to school as soon as possible if you wish to purchase and then collect on one of those dates:
- please underline the collection date applicable to you
- please enter the item you wish to purchase and cost
- please enter the size you think will be applicable
- please return the form to school as soon as possible
Again this year Hagley Sports are offering to embroider the pupils’ names or initials onto the rugby/hockey shirts, the pique shirts, shorts and skorts. These are the items that are most frequently left in the changing rooms for which we are unable to trace the owner. Embroidered names will be processed after sizes have been checked and confirmed.
During the induction evening we try to cater for as many parents as possible but this evening tends to be very crowded. I would point out that there are two other opportunities to purchase uniform listed. The two latter dates are less crowded and parents can rest assured that all orders are catered for provided that the order form is returned in good time.
Yours sincerely
T HAMMOND
