Building the Queen’s carriage!
5th Teddington Guides, fromGirlguiding Greater London West County, recently took on theGirlguiding Surrey East CountyQueen’s Birthday fundraising challenge, which involved building a royal carriage and horses using Octotek materials.
Not only were the Guides exploring their creative side, this project was managed and led completely by the girls!
Aisling, one of the Guides (11), said:‘We didn't really plan the whole design in advance, it just all fell into place! Before we knew it, we had constructed a carriage fit for a queen! All in all, it was a fun activity involving teamwork and communication’.
We're sure the Queen would love a ride in 5th Teddington Guidescarriage!
