4.Reminder’sThis event is governed by the rules of the Royal Aero Club 3r’s and

you should have Read Supplementary regulations – I remind you that you are required to do so according to these rules.

Attend All briefings on time. You will be excluded if you do not attend.

5.Airmanship We are granted special exemptions by the CAA for this event. In return we expect professional flying at all times and general good behavior. The CAA can and will monitor our events without notice and we do not want to give any cause for question.

I remind you that you will be in close proximity to other aircraft throughout the race

No climbing or descending in turns.

Overtaking is the responsibility of the overtaking pilot.No overtaking directly above or below another aircraft

If you make Ship to Ship radio calls during the race must these be acknowledged.

Do Not over fly the crowd, the course does not require it, zero tolerance for offenders.

e) Procedures after crossing the Finish Line:

  1. Climb straight ahead, positive rate of climb to 1200ft QFE. (Set cruise / climb power for this manouvre)
  2. Establish a Loose L/R Hand Pattern, make no violent course deviations.
  3. Maintain radio silence and wait fora radio call “RACE OVER” from the Clerk of the Course, keep a good lookout, continue to avoid local noise sensitive areas, do not over fly local villages outside the circuit.
  4. Twins and fastest a/c requested to land first (eg Twins SF 260’s etc).

  6. After landing hand in your GPS’s as soon as possible marshals will collect on the apron..taxy with caution. Observe Ground Crew directions.
