Entries to be done through the Pukekohe Swimming Club website EVENTS SCHEDULE, click on meet then log on MyPage for each swimmer.

Conditions of Entry

  • Age as at day of Meet.
  • Online entries will close at 23:59:59 Saturday 13 August 2016.
  • Swimmers may choose a maximum of 4 (four) events. Entry fee is $6.00 per event. Payment is made at the time of entries on Swimming New Zealand.
  • Please note the event order. If you choose consecutive events there may be very little rest between races.
  • Application for a refund for non-attendance must be accompanied by a medical certificate.
  • 25m swims only open to 11 years and under.
  • All swimmers must be members of PSC unless invited.
  • PSC reserves the right to limit entries due to time constraints.
  • Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director if space allows. A late fee of $10 will apply if accepted.
  • Competition will follow FINA rules.
  • Parents are expected to help with time keeping on a rotational basis. A list of officials for the event will be posted on the club website prior to the meet. Please check to see whether your help is required.
  • Psych sheets and a meet programme will be on the club website please print off and bring with you.
  • Seating is limited at the pool, please bring along a chair for your comfort.

Health and Safety

Under the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OSH) it is necessary for us to advise you of the hazards that may affect you whilst attending a Pukekohe Swimming Club, Club Night.

Notified Hazards –

Floor surfaces may be slippery when wet. No running. Pool complex concrete & seating may be slippery when wet.

Caution around electronic cords (Starting & Timing equipment)

Please advise the Referee or Pool staff if you observe a potential hazard. Please ensure any young children are supervised at all times and are aware of these hazards.

In General - Please familiarize yourself with the pool layout, exits and equipment. And please take time to discuss with Officials/Coaches how you will react and look after members in the case of an emergency.

In an emergency - If you are required to contact Emergency Services, the address directions are : “ Franklin Pool and Leisure, 29 Franklin Road, PUKEKOHE” Please note that Pool Staff are trained in First Aid & CPR.

For evacuation - Stay Calm, three(3) loud blasts on the whistle by the Referee shall clear the pool. Leave the pool complex as directed by Pool Staff or PSC Technical Officials. Assemble in the car park area in front of the main entrance. Assist Team Managers and Officials to evacuate the swimmers safely. Conduct a roll call to account for all persons (Children and Adults). Notify the relevant emergency Services as required.

During the Meet - Please take care to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others. Particular care should be taken for those under your direct control.
