PROMISED LAND SPORTSMEN'S ASSOCIATION
2ND ANNUAL STATEWIDE COYOTE HUNT
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The hunt will officially begin at 12:01 AM on January 25, 2013 and will end at 12:00 noon on January 27, 2013. No exceptions!
2. Registration donation is $25.00, 50% will go toward cash prizes to successful hunters and 50% toward administrative costs.
3. Registrations must be received and processed prior to 8:00PM January 24, 2013.
4. When hunting in groups each member of the group MUST be registered or the entire group will be disqualified.
5. No registrations will be accepted after the hunt begins.
6. Participants must possess a valid Pennsylvania hunting or fur taker license. This will be checked at the time of weigh in.
7. No trapped or road killed coyotes will be accepted.
8. Coyotes must be killed during the days and time of the scheduled hunt.
9. Promised Land Sportsmen's Association reserves the right to have an autopsy performed on any suspicious coyote.
10. During the scheduled coyote hunt, coyotes may be hunted in any county in Pennsylvania.
11. Any violation of the rules of this hunt, Promised Land State Park rules, or the Pennsylvania game laws will result in that person or group being disqualified from future hunts.
12. Each hunter is responsible for the proper disposal of his/her coyote.
13. Official weigh-ins will be done at the Promised Land Sportsmen's Association pavilion on PA. Rt. 390, 2 1/2 miles south of Interstate 84, from 3:00PM to 6:00PM Friday and Saturday and from 9:00AM until 12 noon on Sunday. Deadline for weigh-ins is 12 noon Sunday. ALL ANIMALS WILL BE MARKED BEFORE LEAVING CLUB GROUNDS.
14. A $50.00 bounty reward will be paid for each coyote. Limit of three coyotes per hunter.
15. Remaining prize money will be awarded based on weight of the top three coyotes harvested (50% for first, 30% for 2nd, 20% for third). In the event that less than three coyotes are yielded, prize money will be divided accordingly. In the event of a tie the prize money for the tied entries will be combined and then split between the tied entries.
16. Promised Land Sportsmen's Association will not be held accountable for any accidents or injuries incurred during the hunt.
