Mruth Sangrahanam/Angurarpanam: Fresh soil is collected and used for planting the seeds of nine different grains for the grand success of the Sthapana ritual, as well as to symbolize the growth of the community.
/ Rakshabandhanam: Tying of the sacred yellow thread on the right wrist of the Priest to protect from any impurities one may encounter and also for the successful completion of the ceremony.
