January, 2016
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a well versed architect, having been working in the field since 2002. I am a Registered Architect in Massachusetts, Florida, Ontario, and Quebec. Moreover, I am eligible for direct board registration across United States and Canada – I am an NCARB Certificate holder.
I have extensive experience in Schematic Design, Design Development, Detailing (Working Drawings), Design & Code Review of a wide range of buildings, from small-scale residential, to commercial, to large scale public infrastructure. In addition, I have had various experiences in interior design, urban planning, and engineering. I have particular skills in hand sketching and mentoring junior staff in various conceptual and detailed design matters. I started my carrier in Romania years ago, both as an architect and engineer.
I completed the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) from December 2006 to November 2008 – all 9 divisions ARE 3.1 – during my internship in Montreal.
Since my registration moment (April 2009), I have been working mainly as an employee or freelance architect for architectural offices in Montreal, Toronto and GTA. On a few occasions, I had the opportunity to draw my own projects – even if minimal as scope and budget – for my own clients. Starting January 2013, I have held contract and permanent positions in Toronto and GTA.
I am confident that my skills and in-depth knowledge will be a valuable asset to any architectural and / or engineering team.
Presently, I am looking for a permanent or contract position. I am available for an interview at your earliest convenience. Moreover, I am a Canadian citizen and I can consider relocation easily if applicable.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Sincerely yours,
Iancu S. Pruncut, NCARB
