Productive Producer

I am highly motivated, quick to learn, quick to adapt, and quick to excel. I am both educated and self-taught. As a laborer, a family member, and a student pursuing a master’s degree, I hold myself to a high standard which requires growth and professionalism. My goal is to be a multimedia entrepreneur, and I intend to blend my work experience with my education in marketing and film to produce high-quality content that educates and entertains the public. I taught myself how to use industry standard software like Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office with an efficient familiarity and skill. I have produced several animated shorts, videos, and a designer portfolio that is better than any other professional graphic artist in the industry. I have worked with all sorts of clients, doing anything from designing T-shirts and logos for small companies, to creating animated television spots. My biggest client has been 7-Eleven, where I helped design a report that was presented to the entire executive committee of a 40 billion dollar company. My career thus far is still young, which means the excitement of accomplishing new and great things is fresh. For examples or more information about my artistic endeavors, please visit:

Art Director

In the interest of honing my professional selling skills, I started working as a freelance animator and graphic designer, using the working title “Productive Productions” for my independent professional ventures. While working as a freelance artist, I am responsible for art direction and generation of clientele. I have overseen the completion of several logos, character graphics, and animated shorts, all of which are delivered to the respective clients within the agreed upon deadline. Duties include:

  • Art Direction:
  • Throughout the week I oversee several storyboard initiatives, character design, sound production and the production of over 1000 keyframe and inbetween frames, resulting in a finished animated short or graphic, ready for sale.
  • Generation of Clientele:
  • I find new clients who are able, willing, and in need of an advertisement or animated short for their business ventures. With each client I create an appeal for the Productive Productions brand, discern the specific needs of each customer, create a story board for each customer, and ensure the delivery of the product through content creation, resulting in a sales increase for my company along with adding to my already extensive portfolio.

FM 88.1 KNTU 1155 Union Circle Denton, Texas

Broadcaster – News, Sports, Traffic and Weather08/2015-12/2017

KNTU “The One” is a 100,000-wattradio station that provides jazz music and news to the McKinney, Denton, and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. As a News Broadcaster, I prepared voice scripts for radio broadcast aimed at informing the public in the AP Style. I was required to think fast, work within deadlines, follow strict instructions and present myself in a cheerful and professional manner.

  • Research:
  • Being a broadcaster at KNTU required that I stay informed of news events both on and off duty. I had to decipher which stories were newsworthy, and I had to decide which stories will catch the listener’s attention with powerful leads. I had to become familiar with at least four stories per each work hour, resulting in at least four unrefined pools of raw information.
  • Writing:
  • Writing scripts required taking the raw information from the research phase to construct a two-minute, AP Style voice script that covered the who, what, when, where, how and why of any given news event. I was responsible for translating all language from print to broadcast format, and finding phonetic pronouncers for any abnormal words I may have found. I producedfour to five news stories per hour resulting in a completed script which served the broadcasting phase.
  • Broadcasting:
  • Voicing a news script on air required extreme confidence, punctuality, and cheer while reading the events of the day to the people within the broadcast radius. I read a two-minute script at the top of every work hour on air, in addition to announcing any changes in local traffic and weather to the public listening audience.

University of North Texas Union

Facilities Maintenance II01/2016-Present

Being a facilities maintenance custodian for the university’s flagship building requires punctuality, leadership, and an ability to adjust to an ever-changing student environment.

  • Leadership
  • Each week I assume team leadership and basic management responsibilities in the absence of the scheduled manager. I sometimes have to prepare two payroll timesheets a week, issue and collectthree building master keys and fivehandheldradios per shift, delegate responsibilities amongtwo to six crew members each day, and coordinate communication between the building’s five departments and our facilities team, resulting in high team morale, and a quality service delivered at the end of each shift.
  • Maintenance
  • Maintenance of the four floors of the University Union building requires that professional offices be cleaned, 20 restrooms be serviced, all of the nine common areas be kept presentable, the building’s 50 trash receptacles to be emptied regularly, and any other extra duties which may present themselves throughout any given shift, resulting in four pristine building levels at the end of a nine-hour work shift.
