Label Stock – Standard Sizes and Materials
Primera’s TuffCoat™ High-Gloss, Semi-Gloss and Matte Labels are the perfect match for LX-Series dye-based inks. Compatibility and performance are guaranteed. Standard sizes are usually available for immediate shipment. Labels for LX200/LX400 are 5" maximum O.D. on a 2" core with a .125" corner radius. Labels for LX800/LX810/LX900 are 6" maximum O.D. on a 3" core with a .125" corner radius. Unless specifically indicated all rolls have perforations between labels.
TuffCoat High-Gloss Paper – smooth, bright white face sheet with permanent, general purpose acrylic adhesive. Excellent adhesion to cardboard, metals and most plastics. High-gloss finish is very abrasion-resistant and highly water-resistant.
TuffCoat Matte Paper – rough, white face sheet with permanent general purpose acrylic adhesive. Excellent adhesion to cardboard, glass, metals and most plastics. Some water resistance, excellent abrasion resistance.
TuffCoat Extreme™ High-Gloss White Polyester – bright white shiny finish with excellent water resistance. General purpose acrylic adhesive. Must use reduced saturation settings in LX-Series printer driver software.
TuffCoat Extreme™ High-Gloss Clear Polyester – optically clear shiny finish with excellent water resistance. General purpose acrylic adhesive. Must use reduced saturation settings in LX-Series printer driver software.
TuffCoat Extreme™ White Matte Polypropylene – Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) has a bright white matte finish. Excellent clarity, resistant to oils and greases, good puncture and flex-crack resistance over a wide range of temperatures, excellent water resistance and doesn’t wrinkle or shrink with environmental changes
TuffCoat Vintage Matte Paper – Horizontally textured Estate #4®, white face sheet with modified acrylic dispersion adhesive with water wash-off characteristics. Excellent adhesion to glass, metals and most plastics.
TuffCoat Tag – same top coat as TuffCoat High Gloss but in a non-adhesive construction. Ideal for name and visitor badges.
