SILENCE
A great many people nowadays sometime feel a need for silence. Our lives are so hectic, so hurried that there seems to be little time left to be quiet, no space to hear that "still small voice" which speaks to our inner being. Some folk find silence in the hills, some while sailing the seas or just sitting quietly by the fireside on a winter's evening. Others find it in prayer and meditation.
But to many silence is alienating; every moment, it seems, must be filled with noise and movement. Silence is much more than the absence of noise. Silence is music asleep. Find it and you will find that "peace which passes all understanding".
God loves an expectant heart. Package your prayers in trust, stamp them with confidence and send them by faith.
