GANG OF THREE DESPRATE AUTO LIFTERS NAMELY MUKESH, PARDEEP AND PREM CHAND ARRESTED. 11 CARS/ VANS AND ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL RECOVERED .
BRIEF INCIDENT :- On 13.4.2012, a secret information was received by Inspr. Anil Kumar, SHO/Aman Vihar through ASI Nand Kishore and Constable Jagbir Singh NO. 1555/OD about a stolen Maruti Van and the same was lodged vide DD NO. 31-A. On this information, a raiding team consisting of ASI Nand Kishore, HC Harphool Singh NO. 1440/OD, Ct. Jagbir Singh No. 1555/OD and Ct. Balbir No. 2430/OD was constituted and with specific briefing was sent to the place of information. The raiding party made a Naka Bandi for vehicle checking at Krishana Pardhan Road near PSMSchool. At about 5.45 P.M., one Maruti Van No. DL-8CM-5996 golden colour came from Budh Bazar road side and the raiding party tried to intercept it. Driver of Maruti Van tried to escape from the spot but HC Harphool Singh put the barricade in the way and ultimately the Van was got stopped and three persons including driver were overpowered. Later on, they disclosed their names and addresses as

2.Mukesh S/O Sunder Singh R/O F-18, Aman Vihar, Delhi
3.Prem Chand S/O Sh. Ramesh Chand R/O B-500, DDA Flat Binda Pur, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
On search of driver of Maruti Van Pardeep Kumar, a loaded country made pistol alongwith 04 live cartridges recovered from his personal possession for which, a case vide FIR NO. 97/12 dated 13/4/12 U/S 25 Arms Act, P.S. Aman Vihar has been registered. On checking of stolen vehicle record through engine/chasis number through Auto match, it was found that the above Maruti Van is already reported stolen vide FIR No. 39/12 U/S 379 IPC, P.S. Aman Vihar and the actual number of Maruti Van is DL-9CF-9057. The I.O concerned was informed accordingly and all the three persons were arrested in this case.
Interrogation :- On interrogation of all the above mentioned three accused persons , it has been revealed that earlier accused Mukesh and Pardeep Kumar were working together in Airtel Company as driver. Mukesh purchased a Car in which he faced a huge deficit and his financial condition become miserable.
Mukesh shared his problem with Pardeep Kumar and Pardeep Kumar suggested him to start of auto-lifting and ultimately they formed a gang in which they included one Prem Chand. Mukesh and Prem Chand was having knowledge of Car mechanic job, therefore Mukesh took a plot on rent from Satish S/O Kali Ram R/O Village Nithari, Delhi and started the job of Car repairing. In the shadow of car repairing garage, all the above mentioned three persons used to steal Indica Cars, Maruti Vans and other cars from different part of Delhi and bring them to their garage where they open the spare parts of the vehicles and sell these parts in Maya Puri, Jama Masjid grey markets and some of the spare parts fitted in customers vehicles after removing from stolen vehicles.
Pardeep Kumar has also opened a Travel agency in Uttam Nagar area and used to send these stolen Indica Cars for tour purpose on rent. On interrogation, all the three have confessed of having stolen many Cars from all over Delhi. 11 Vehicles ( 06 Indica Cars, 03 Maruti Vans, One Wagon R & One Maruti Ecco) have been recovered on their pointing out. During interrogation, Pardeep Kumar has told that since he is the boss of the gang, therefore he used to keep Pistol in his possession, so that the same is used in case of need for threatening the people on gun point.

ACCUSED INVOLVED IN CIRCULATION OF FAKE INDIAN CURRENCY NOTES ARRESTED: FAKE INDIAN CURRENCY NOTES WORTH RS. 25800/- RECOVERED.
Staff of Police Station Vijay Vihar, Outer District has arrested accused Smt. Alka Grover (age 42 years) W/o Balkishan Grover R/o C-151, Vijay Vihar Phase-II, Delhi, a member of an organized gang involved in circulation of fake Indian currency notes. Fake Indian currency notes in the denomination of Rs. 500/-worth Rs. 23,000/-, 100/-worth Rs. 2700/- and Rs. 50/-worth Rs. 100/- (Total sum of Rs. 25,800/-) recovered from her possession. These fake Indian currency notes are of very fine quality and the standard security features like water mark, security thread and paper quality used in the currency notes is of very high standard which makes it very difficult to detect these fake notes.
TEAM, INCIDENT AND ARREST:
In the recent past there were several inputs that fake Indian currency was being pumped into Indian markets with a view to destabilize the Indian economy. The fake currency was being circulated through Indian carriers, especially the unemployed youths. In order to develop the information, a team of PS Vijay Vihar, Outer District consisting of SI Paschim Kumar No. D-4370, ASI Pradeep Kumar No. 551/OD, HC Parmender No. 3146/OD, HC Satyapal No. 1401/OD, HC (Dvr.) Dinesh No. 1913/OD, Ct. Ravinder Kumar No. 726/OD, Ct. Rishi Pal No. 3379/OD, Ct. Naveen No. 2773/OD and W/Ct. Sonia No. 3305/OD was formed under the supervision of Inspector Sunil Kumar Chauhan, SHO/Vijay Vihar and Sh. Ved Prakash, ACP/Rohini, Outer District to develop the information and apprehend the criminals involved such activities. The team worked relentlessly day and night and activated their secret sources to collect the information regarding the persons involved in circulation of fake Indian currency notes.
On 13.04.12, efforts bore fruits and specific information was received that three persons are making fake Indian currency notes at C-151, Vijay Vihar-II, Delhi. Immediately, the members of team laid a trap at and around C-151, Vijay Vihar-II, Delhi at about 2.15 PM. On search, fake currency notes of Rs. 500/-worth Rs. 23,000/-, 100/-worth Rs. 2700/- and Rs. 50/-worth Rs. 100/- (Total sum of Rs. 25,800/-) recovered from his possession. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 128/12 u/s 489A/489B/489C/489D/34 IPC PS Vijay Vihar, Delhi was registered and investigation taken up.
INTERROGATION
During sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that she alongwith one Mr. Tajender and Vinod made fake Indian currency notes by using instruments at her house i.e. C-151, Vijay Vihar-II, Delhi. After making these fake currency notes they supplied them in Punjab and Haryana. She can help to apprehend the remaining accused from their whereabouts and get recovered more fake Indian currency notes from their possession.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED :
Accused Smt. Alka Grover (age 42 years) W/o Balkishan Grover R/o C-151, Vijay Vihar Phase-II, Delhi was born in Punjab. She was married to One Mr. Bal Kishan Grover 22 years ago. After her marriage she alongwith her in laws started living at R-1/11, Budh Vihar-I, Delhi. About 11 years ago due to dispute on a plot her husband murdered one person namely Ramesh. She was also involved in this murder. After one and half year of this crime she got regular bail. Her husband was convicted and he is still running behind bars. After releasing from jail she bought a house at C-151, Vijay Vihar-II, Delhi and started doing job at CBCD Charitable Trust, Janakpuri, Delhi. As her husband was running in jail and her children were studying in Pubjab so the economic condition of her family became worse. In the meantime when she went to met her husband in jail where she came into the contact of Mr. Tejender and Vinod. She stated her economic condition before them. On hearing about her condition they told her that they made fake Indian currency notes. They offered her to join their business. After some time they brought instruments of making fake Indian currency notes at her house and she started working with them. They made fake Indian currency notes and supplied these notes in Punjab and Haryana region. By this way they earned a lot of money. She also used to sell some fake Indian currency notes in locality of Vijay Vihar.

ONE SNATCHER ARRESTED WITH GOLD CHAIN
The staff of Police Station Nangloi, West District has arrested one snatcher with gold chain namely Suresh @ Nini.
NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON
Suresh @ Nini S/o Hukka Ram R/o Lal Mandir Wali Gali Village Begam Pur, Delhi, Age- 22 years. Education= 4th Class.
RECOVERY MADE
One gold chain was found in the abdomen of the accused after the incident as the accused swallowed the chain. The same was confirmed from X-ray report of the accused.
INFORMATION /OPERATION
On 12-04-2012, a PCR call was received at P.S. Nangloi regarding chain snatching. The local police reached the spot and recorded the statement of Smt. Rinky W/o Sh. Praveen Kumar R/o House No. 6, Village Kamruddin Nagar, Delhi who stated that she, along with her Brother-in-law Rahul and Mother in-law was going to NCERT campus near Qutab Hotel, New Delhi by car to attend a marriage ceremony. The car was driven by her brother in-law. She was sitting in rear seat of the car on left side. Near Metro Pillar No. 374, on the Rohtak Road her mother-in-law got down from the car for purchasing a water bottle from a shop. At that time one young boy came in a menacing manner and snatched her chain and ran away. She got afraid. When he tried to run away, she cried and screamed. Her brother-in-law got down and caught the young boy with the help of a passersby. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 96/12 U/S 382 IPC was registered.
INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION
During investigation accused disclosed that after snatching the chain he swallowed this chain. Efforts are being made to recover the chain. He is in police custody remand for two days. The investigation of this case is in progress.

INFORMATION /OPERATION
Keeping in view the MCD election in the capital, ACP/Tilak Nagar Sh. Pankaj Kumar Singh, IPS had directed SHO Hari Nagar, to be utmost vigilant during election times and keep strict eye on bootleggers who are involved in such type of activities. In pursuance of the directions SHO Hari Nagar Inspr. Ramesh Chander constituted a team comprising of SI Rajender Kumar, HC Arun Kumar, HC Surender Kumar and Ct. Subhash to take stern action and recover the illegal liquor in the area. The police team scrutinized record of all criminals who were previously involved in such cases in the area. The police team also examined the record of jail released criminals. Secret informers were also deployed in the task. Police team also kept a secret eye on the bootleggers. The police team secretly visited many areas in civil cloths many times to have a closed watch. On 14.04.2012 at about 7.30 PM when the police team was patrolling in the area they noticed a Maruti Zen car No.DL-7CC-3912 in suspicious condition. Driver of the car took a dangerous U-turn after noticing the police party. But due to high speed he could not take the turn. But by the time vigilant staff stopped him. He tried to run away but way apprehended. On interrogation and checking of the car 11 cartons of illegal liquor were recovered from the car, which he had brought for sale on high prices during dry days of election. A case vide FIR No.136/12 u/s 33 the Delhi Excise Act, PS Hari Nagar has been registered and investigations are continuing.
Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

THREE DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED : 37.1 KG. GANJA SEIZED
ALONG WITH CASH RS. 36,000/-
With the arrest of three drug peddlers namely (1) Dilip Chaudhary aged about 23 years s/o Raju Chaudhary r/o L-303, Laxman Puri, Nabi Karim, Delhi; (2) Navin Kumar aged about 21 years s/o Ghuran Patel r/o L-303, Laxman Puri, Delhi and (3) Parsuram aged about 22 years s/o Ramotar Mandal r/o L-303, Laxman Puri, Delhi, the Central District police has recovered 37.1 Kg. Ganja and cash Rs. 36,000/- from their possession.
TEAM & OPERATION
In view of the forthcoming MCD Elections and to enhance police presence, foot/mobile patrolling in the area was enhanced. On 13.04.12, SI Mohit, HC Preet Singh and Const. Balwan Singh during patrolling, noticed three persons who were carrying plastic bags on their head. On suspicion, these three persons were intercepted and questioned. On questioning, they revealed their names as Dilip Chaudhary s/o Raju Chaudhary r/o English Banni, PS Mahaskut, Distt. Khagaria, Bihar; (2) Navin Kumar s/o Ghuran Patel r/o Vill. Dumariya Tola, Distt. Munger, PS Bariya Pur, Bihar and (3) Parsuram s/o Ramotar Mandal r/o Vill. Thatha, PS Mansi, Distt. Khagaria, Bihar; all temporary residents of L-303, Laxman Puri, Delhi. During this questioning could not give any satisfactory reply, hence their bags were searched and from their bags, approx. 37.100 Kg. Ganja was recovered and further from their persons search Rs. 36,000/- was recovered which they revealed to be earned from selling the ganza. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 87/12 was registered at PS Nabi Karim under NDPS Act.
Further investigation/interrogation is in progress and efforts are being made to unearth the source of supply of Ganja.

BIG HAUL OF ILLICIT LIQUOR WORTH OVER ONE LAKH RUPEES SEIZED. NINE CASES REGISTERED IN ONE DAY. TWO CARS AND A SCOOTER USED IN TRANSPORTING LIQUOR ALSO SEIZED
In the run up to theMCsD-2012 Elections, South West Distt Police has cracked down upon liquor smuggling in the area. During the special drive on 13.4.12, 8 persons have been arrested and a big haul of illicit liquor consisting of 56 full bottles, 352 halves, 897 Quarters has been seized from their possession. Two cars and one scooter used in transporting liquor have also been seized.
OPERATION AND TEAMS
In order to put a check on smuggling of illicit liquor during MCsD-12 elections, a special drive has been launched in South West Distt. During this exercise special pickets have been set-up at appropriate locations after carefully studying the movement of bootleggers. Regular watch is being maintained over the activities unscrupulous elements. Emphasis is being given to develop actionable intelligence in the area through constant interaction with the local residents. ‘Eyes and Ears’ scheme has been energized and public is being cautioned through circulation of leaflets and by putting-up bill boards at conspicuous locations.
From past experience it has been observed that /bootleggers involved in supply of illicit liquors in various parts of Delhi from nearby states become active in the run up to electionsas the demand for liquor normally shoots up at this time. They especially supply those brands of liquor which are prohibited in Delhi.. In order to prevent these incidents and to nab the criminals actively involved in this crime, several teams have constituted in South West Distt. The teams so formed worked relentlessly and details of several criminals previously involved in such cases have been collected. Secret informers have been activated to develop information about the criminals involved in supply of illicit liquor. These details have been analyzed minutely and surveillance over the activities of identified bootleggers/criminals mounted round the clock.
