Warm-Up and Intro

  • Flex- Form Run, Stretch, Jumping Exercises

Fitness Activity

  • Hula Hoop Routine
  • Scooter Routine

Skill Activities

  • Ball Skill Routine
  • Racket Routine
  • Jump Rope Routine

Game Activity

  • Big Ball Softball- A softball based game in which I will pitch to students from close range. Ball is about the size of volleyball and easy to hit. If student struggles a tee will assist him after sufficient attempts.

Student Progress and Assessment

  • At the end of the lesson, each student in the class should have helped contribute to his/her team’s effort.
  • Students should feel confident in their improving overall skill with a ball in their hands. .
  • Students should be working together to achieve team success during games.
  • Students should be excited to learn games using the skills of throwing and catching.
