One arrested for attempted theft :- Gokal Puri police have arrested one Asif, aged 19 years R/o Nehru Vihar for attempted theft at the house of one Munaver Ali R/o Old Mustafabad. According to DCP/North-East office, the accused was caught red handedly by Munaver Ali while he broke into his house for theft yesterday night.
Criminal held :- Lodhi Colony police have arrested one Vijay Rawat @ Bobby, aged 30 years,who was living in guise of Sadhu Baba in the vicinity of Sai Baba Mandir. According to DCP/South office, during interrogation he was found to be involved in two criminal cases of murder and hurt registered at P.S. Bhajan Pura and Gokal Puri respectively.
Public help is sought in identifying the body :- Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway police have sought public help in identifying the body of a male, aged around 50/55 years, Ht. 5’5”, wheatish complexion, oval face, medium built, wearing blue checkdar shirt and blue chekdar tehmad, found on 12.9.07.

FOUR ARRESTED UNDER PLANNING TO COMMIT DACOITY – ONE COUNTRYMADE PISTOL LOADED, TWO BUTTON ACTUATED KNIVES AND ROPE WERE RECOVERED
With the arrest of (1) Mahboob, aged 23 years s/o Ayub r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi, (2) Mahender, aged 30 Years s/o Makhan r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi, (3) Bhurwa, aged 25 years s/o Babu r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi and (4) Munawar, aged 23 years s/o Sahidulla r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi, North District police has foiled an attempt to commit dacoity which they were planning to commit by looting the goods from the trucks that remain parked in the area of Gulabi Bagh. One country made pistol, one live cartridge, two knives and a bundle of rope were also recovered from their possession.
TEAM AND THE INCIDENT
A team consisting of Inspector Amardeep Sehgal, I/C Special Staff, North District, S.I. Gajender Singh, HC Mahesh, Ct Rahul, Ct Vivek, Ct. Birbal, Ct Kalu Ram and Ct Zameel was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. S. S. Malik, ACP/Operations/North District.
On 12.09.07, an information was received by the staff of Operation Cell, North District while they were patrolling that some criminals having dangerous weapons in their possession have gathered near the inside wall of the RoshanaraClubPark and were planning to commit dacoity in the area of North District. On receipt of this information, a raiding party was constituted and a trap was laid at the said place and five persons were found sitting near the inside wall of the Club. Further it was checked and confirmed that they were planning to commit dacoity by looting the goods from the trucks that remain parked in the area of Gulabi Bagh. The above four criminals were apprehended whereas one criminal namely Iqbal managed to escape. During their personal search one Country Made pistol, one live cartridge, two button-actuated knives and a bundle of rope was recovered from their possession. A case for planning to commit dacoity and Arms Act was registered at PS Roop Nagar in this regard.
INTERROGATION & INVESTIGATION
All the four accused persons were interrogated at length during which they disclosed that they are good friends and do not have any permanent residence. They are vagabonds of the area of Old Delhi, Kabir Nagar and New Delhi Railway Station for long. It was further learnt that all of them were in bad habit of puffing smack, lifting of bags etc. Mahboob is the gang leader and it was he who gave them the idea to loot the goods from the trucks that remain parked in the area of Gulabi Bagh in order to huge amount of money. Mahboob arranged country made pistol and knives and gave them. They had gathered at RoshanaraClubPark to make plans to commit the crime but were apprehended by the police red handed. Previously also these accused have been involved in criminal cases.
Further investigation/interrogation is in progress.

PROFILE
1. Mahboob s/o Ayub r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi is 23 years old. He is unmarried and had studied up to 10th class and presently a vagabond. He is the leader of this gang. He arranged the weapons and gave those to other members of the gang. He is earlier also involved in 2 criminal cases.
2. Mahender s/o Makhan r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi is 30 years old. He is unmarried and illiterate. He is a vagabond and in order to earn quick money joined Mahboob to commit the crime. He is earlier also involved in 2 criminal cases.

GANG OF ROBBERS HELD: PLANNING OF ROBBERY IN A HOUSE AVERTED
INTRODUCTION
With the arrest of three persons namely i) Parvez Khan, aged 22 years S/o Mohd. Abdul Bahawa r/o vagabond, Delhi, ii) Rajesh Kumar @ Kallu, aged 21 years S/o Ram Prakash r/o Jaitpur Extension, Badarpur, Delhi and iii) Santosh Singh @ Santu, aged 22 years S/o Shiv Nath Singh r/o vagabond, Delhi , the South Distt. Police has busted a gang of robbers and recovered 2 button actuated knives, 1 iron rod, 1 torch and 1 piece of nylon rope were recovered from their possession.
INCIDENT & TEAM
On 10.9.07 at about 9.30 p.m. a secret information was received to the Police Post Nehru Place under PS Kalkaji that one notorious criminal Parvez Khan who had committed a dacoity cum murder in the area of PS Okhla in the year 2000, alongwith his four other associates would assemble in the park near DDA Parking, Kalkaji and they would plan a dacoity in the area of Nehru Place. Seeing the gravity of the information, a team consisting of SI Manish Joshi, I/ C PP Nehru Place , HCs Anils Kumar, Sher Singh, Ved Parkash, Subhash, Cts. Naresh, Anil Sunder Pal and Amarjeet was constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Joginder Kumar, SHO/Kalkaji and under overall supervision of Sh. V.P. Singh, ACP/Kalkaji was constituted. A trap was laid by the police team at the given point. At about 10.45 p.m. 5 persons assembled near DDA Parking,Nehru Place and they were planning to commit dacoaity in a residential house in Shambhu Dayal Bagh. All the three above named persons were apprehended, while they were planning to commit dacoity, while two accused managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of darkness. On their personal search 1 iron rod was recovered from Parvez Khan and on his cursory search one torch and nylon rope was also recovered from his possession. In the cursory search of Rajesh Kumar one button actuated knife was recovered and another button actuated knife was recovered in the cursory search of Santosh Kumar @ Shantu. Accordingly, a case of Preparation for Dacoity and Arms Act was registered against them and they were arrested.
INTERROGATION
During the course of sustained interrogation it was revealed that Parvez Khan is the gang leader of this gang, who was arrested in the year 2000 by PS Okhla Polie for a dacotiy cum murder case. He is also found to be involved in as many as 5 criminal cases. The other members of the gang are also listed criminals involved in several cases. They had gathered in order to commit a dacoity in a residential house in Shambhu Dayal Bagh. They also disclosed the Sunny and Sanju, who managed to escape from the spot are also the co-accused in the case of dacoity cum murder of PS Okhla in the year 2000.
Their further involved in crimes are being verified and efforts are afoot to arrest the absconding criminals.

1.Two button actuated knives.
2.One piece of nylon rope, 1 torch and 1 iron rod.

One Drug Trafficker Arrested – 30 gm Cocaine seized
Information was received in the Police Station Narcotics Branch that some foreign National of African origin presently residing at Mumbai are involved in illicit trade of Cocaine and supply the same in Mumbai and Delhi. A team under the supervision of ACP Shri Rajesh Deo led by SHO/Narcotics Branch consisting of SI Satish Rana, HC Ajaibir, Const. Rajbir, Const. Satpal and Const. Rakesh was constituted to develop the information. The team further develops the information and found that the suspected person is supplying Cocaine to various customers in Delhi. A watch was maintained and it was established that one Oluwasegun Sesan (age 28 years) @ John S/o Sh. Jinadu R/o 6, Suwen Surulese Lagos, Nigeria, Presently residing at 704, Mani Place, Bharti Park, Meera Road, East Mumbai would come to supply Cocaine from Mumbai to Delhi.
On 12.9.07 the information confirmed that Oluwase Gun Sesanwould come to supply Cocaine from Mumbai to Delhi by Go Airways. The team was immediately dispatched to take action. The team reached at DomesticPalamAirport, near Exit gate round about New Delhi at about 7.30 PM and mounted surveillance in the area. At about 7.50 PM one foreign national of African origin came there. The team immediately swooped and Oluwase Gun Sesan @ John wasnabbed at about 8.00 PM and on formal search 30 gm cocaine was recovered from his possession. The contraband was seized and a case vide FIR No. 90 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Narcotics Branch and investigation was taken up.
During the investigation it was found that the foreign national of African origin was a, Nigerian National whose name is Oluwasegun Sesan @ John. On interrogation he revealed that he studied upto 10th standard in his country. He has one brother and his father and mother are in business at Nigeria. First time he visited India in the year of 2004 and stayed in Mumbai for six months. Again he came to India in September-2006 on employment Visa and doing the Computer Course from NIIT, Mumbai. He came in touch with one Ibrahim, who is a notorious Cocaine peddler of Mumbai who lured him in this illicit trade. First time he came Delhi and stayed with his friend namely Dent. However he did not know address of his friend. Now he came to Delhi from Mumbai by Go Airways to supply the contraband to some one on the direction of Ibrahim.
Investigation of the case is in progress. Raids are being conducted to locate and arrest accused Ibrahim and the receiver of the contraband.
