Hello Parents!
The front lobby of Chets Creek will soon be adorned with an amazing display of pumpkins for our Literary Pumpkin Festival, which will run from <DATES>. Each class is responsible for decorating a pumpkin (or pumpkins) according to a book that the class has chosen. Our class has chosen the book, ______.
Various craft supplies will be needed for this fun activity, including such items as ______. We will shop for the necessary supplies later this week. If you are able to contribute toward the cost of the materials, please send in your donation by <DATE>.
We plan to come in to work with the students to create this display on <DATES>. Please return the bottom portion of this form in your child’s planner so that we can plan for this fun event.
PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with the Jessica Lunsford Act, all parents on campus for any reason MUST have completed their registration as a volunteer in the School District of Duval County. In addition, according to School Board Policy JJJ (5), no student shall be denied the right to participate for inability to pay (or contribute to this event).
