  • Welcomed everyone and introduced the Board
  • Explained what the Booster Club is all about and importance of joining
  • Discussed membership form and fees ($75 for basic, $175 for basic plus)
  • Explained buyout option
  • Stressed importance of attending meetings to have input
  • Discussed spirit ads for programs
  • Volunteer opportunity sign ups at Meet the Player Night

Vice President: Machelle Dungey

  • Briefly discussed upcoming Homecoming Parade on Oct. 18(no real details as of yet) and asked for volunteers
  • Stressed how well Boys Soccer was represented at last years Homecoming Parade
  • Explained Meet the Player Night (date and major chance for volunteer sign ups)

Treasurer: John Martin

  • Beginning Balance :$20,855.64
  • Ending Balance was: $19,611.64
  • Paid out remaining bills from last year
  • Motion by John for Tax free shopping days to be Dec. 10 (Meet the Player Night) and January Booster Meeting. Seconded by Susan Kelly, approved by all in attendance

Secretary: Kelly Rajkowski

  • Discussed the highlights of the Information Packet
  • Asked anyone in attendance who was not receiving email communication to provide a corrected email address

Fund Raising : Mandy Rhodes

  • First fundraiser is Sonic Oct. 13
  • Need full participation from players and parents (sign ups for players in class and parents at booster meeting)
  • Poinsettia Fundraiser mid Oct forms to be sent out to players
  • Player to sell 10 plants @ $10 each
  • Opt out with Basic Plus Membership
  • Kwik Kar sometime in Jan/Feb
  • Player to sell 3 cards @ $30 each
  • No opt out option due to amount we have to sell
  • Buffalo Wild Wings cards still available (Booster Club receives a percentage of total order)
  • Kroger Donation Program (percentage to Booster Club off your total order)
  • Tom Thumb Donation Program forthcoming in 2 weeks

Spirit Wear: Neil Carnes

  • New T-shirts are selling well
  • Ladies V neck shirts coming soon
  • Debra Wilson selling “bling”

Coach Doyle:

  • Explained importance of Booster Club which provide equipment for the Boys soccer program
  • Stressed the participation of the players for all fundraisers
  • Touched on player placement for teams (will move players up and down between teams)
  • Varsity Tournaments for January in Allen and Marcus
  • JV to play in Turner Tournament in January
  • Practice jersey forms being sent home with players
