Practice Manager Facilitators Required for the NES General Practice Managers Vocational Training Scheme (PMVTS)

Have you been a Practice Manager for at least five years? Are you interested in sharing your knowledge and expertise with a Trainee Practice Manager? Why not consider applying to become a Facilitator on the NES General Practice Managers Vocational Training Scheme (PMVTS)? We need enthusiastic Practice Managers who love coaching, mentoring and supporting others in their personal development.

The programme takes place over a fifteen month period (an academic programme year plus a three month period of Preparatory Work),during which Traineesmeet up with their Facilitator for weekly tutorials and attend a programme of central training events. Facilitators are geographically matched with a Trainee who may be new, assistant or aspiring Practice Managers.

There is a full induction programme and new Facilitators are supported throughout, by both the programme lead, and experienced PMVTS Facilitators. Each Facilitator’s Practice is allocated a supportive training grant of £4,000 per annum. Travelling expenses to central training events are separately funded.
