Introduction

In February 2013 the Admissions Project Board prioritised the development of a Postgraduate Research online application form. As a result, the following new developments have also been implemented to aid the research application process. All developments will be implemented to “go live” in September 2013 simultaneously.

·  Mandatory documents uploaded and attached to application form pre submission

Access permissions

Registry Postgraduate Team setup permissions for School user access

Schools/Units are responsible for maintaining authorised users for their own School keeping Registry informed of any changes

Accessing PGR School View

From the University home page select “Current Staff” then “e‐Vision

Log in using University username and pass word

Click PGR Academic Decision Tool

Click View Applications

Select School and year

Select record

View application

Upload documents are attached to the application form

View document

Make a note

Return to application listing

Return to selection options

Search by applicant

Returns all available applicants, click “Search”

Search on any blank field

Enter search criteria and click ‘Retrieve’

Return to selection options

Click “Exit” to leave application

Important Note: applications received before 6 Sept (Go Live) will also appear in School View however the application form will be incomplete and documents will not be visible so for such records the paper copies will need to be referred to.
