ATTRIBUTES / ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE / HOW IDENTIFIED
EXPERIENCE / -Substantial and successful senior management experience or other appropriate experience in a Secondary School or PRU.
-A proven track record of successful teaching experience at Secondary level.
-Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs, especially behaviourally challenging pupils.
-Experience of working with pupils with educational/social disadvantages. / -Experience of ‘mixed-age’ teaching.
-Have experience of successfully managing a budget.
-Experience of working to bring about school improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING / -Have Qualified Teacher Status.
-Good honours degree or equivalent.
