ASPNET-KOULUJEN UUSI OMA SOME!

Dear ASPnet National Coordinators,

In an ever more globalized, interconnected and interdependent world, young learners today are confronted with complex social, economic, cultural and environmental challenges which cannot be understood or solved only locally but require a collaborative response across borders. It is essential that children and youth are empowered to understand and address these challenges and act as responsible global citizens to ensure a peaceful and sustainable future.

We, therefore, have the great pleasure to invite you to actively participate in the new ASPnet in Action online collaborative platform “Global Citizens connected for Sustainable Development”.

This platform aims to be an effective online tool for generating continuous interactions and partnerships among the Network worldwide to increase understanding of global citizenship education, and to strengthen its teaching and learning in support of sustainable development. It inspires collaborative networking and participation of ASPnet teachers, students and experts to connect with their peers across the globe by exchanging about school-based initiatives and learning from their respective experiences.

We encourage you and the Associated Schools in your country to take part in this platform to enhance networking and communication among ASPnet members to work effectively together, and to promote global citizenship and sustainable development in and outside the classroom.

The platform is available in English and French and will be moderated by Ms. Miriam Tereick ().

All questions related to ASPnet in Action should be addressed to Ms. Fouzia Belhami (email below)
