Position: Social Media & Content Manager

Purpose of the job:

Sifiso Learning Group a growing education company in South Africa and requires your expertise in social media management across the various platforms.
You will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of all the Sifiso Learning Group’s social media strategies as well as the creation and curation of the content (videos, images, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social media strategy, content creation and community management
  • Create and manage Content Plans including implementation.
  • Monitor online queries and provide suitable solutions.
  • Conceptualise, research, develop and implement social media plans and activities to deliver the brand strategy
  • Work with brand leads for input and sign off on social media content and strategies
  • Social Media Management for all brands within the Group
  • Understand market and dynamics of the brand
  • Competitor analysis and monitoring trends in the digital space
  • Attend events and the like for live content
  • Create and manage content libraries: videos, images, etc. through capturing content on camera/video as well as edits in Adobe Creative Suite
  • May be required to do extra ordinary things from time to time.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Minimum 3years’social media management experience (Strategy + Implementation)
  • Contactable references, with regards to Social Media Management experience
  • Design experience would be highly favourable (Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign etc.)) or else a keen readiness to train on these tools for use

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years social media management experience
