1. New Intergenerational Project

Criteria:Your intergenerational project must be new and less than 12 months old and involve younger and older people (typically separated by at least one generation i.e. at least twenty to twenty-five years).

Please describe your intergenerational project, its aims and outcomes, why it was set up, who you work with, how its being evaluated and what impact it is having for the participants and community. (Max 250 words) Why should it win the award?

2. Established Intergenerational Project

Criteria:Your intergenerational project must have been running for longer than 12 months and must involve younger and older people as defined in the guidelines.

Please describe your intergenerational project, its aims and outcomes, why it was set up, who you work with, how its being evaluated and what impact it is having for the participants and community. (Max 250 words) Why should it win the award?

3. Outstanding volunteer contributing to Intergenerational Work

Criteria:The nominated volunteer should be a younger or older person who shows great understanding and respect for different generations and understands the importance of meaningful intergenerational relationships, which are developed within the project they are involved in. They must have shown dedication and drive and have contributed to the team in helping deliver the project.

4. Building successful partnerships through Intergenerational Work

Criteria:Nominees should clearly show how the planning group responsible for organising, planning, facilitating and evaluating the intergenerational project has developed, sustained and nurtured partnerships throughout the life of the project. Please highlight relationships built with organisations that you would not normally work with.

5. Yvonne Coull Local Network Coordinator Award

Criteria: GWT staff will be invited to nominate coordinators from their network areas showing how they have contributed to building a healthy and proactive network. Network members can suggest local coordinators for nomination to their GWT Development Officer/Manager).
