This Service Agreement is effective when initial three (3) months payment in advance of $49.50 is received by AREA. Questions? No problem, please call your local office at (217) 935-1312 and we'll be glad to assist!
SERVICE INFORMATION:
SERVICE Instructions: Refuse and/or Recycling must be placed at the curb or on the alley line on solid, level ground by 6:00am on your scheduled pick-up day. Containers shall have no overhead obstructions and shall be accessible from the front and clear of any objects such as vehicles, bicycles, mailboxes, etc. within a 5 foot radius.
RESTRICTIONS: We cannot accept tires, batteries, liquid paint, auto parts, freon appliances or electronic waste. Itemstoo largefor the cart or too heavy to lift,such as dirt or animal waste, will NOT be allowed. Boxes must be broken down placed within the cart. Yard waste cannot be mixed with trash.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: There will be no service on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. If any one of these days falls on or before your scheduled pick-up day, your service will fall on the following day, excluding Sundays.
SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
As the Customer, you are the authorized signatory and understand that the monthly service charges and fees listed in this Residential Service Agreement are guaranteed for one year and thereafter will be subject to adjustment, not to exceed 5% (five percent). By signing this, you contractually agree to one year of service from PDC/AREA Disposal Companies (Contractor), whereby after one year you will continue to receive services so long as requested services are paid promptly. If you terminate this Agreement before the end of the one year of service for any reason, excluding moving outside of the PDC/AREA service area, you agree to pay the Contractor the Total Monthly Charges for six (6) months of services or the time remaining on the Agreement, whichever is lesser. Current taxes and fees are included in the service charge. Any increases in either governmental taxes or fees, or both, will be added to the service charges.
The above charges will be billed in advance for residential services identified above. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of bill receipt. Finance charges will be applied to the account balance at a rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month the account is overdue. In the event you fail to pay all amounts which become due under this Agreement and the Contractor refers such matter to an attorney, you agree to pay, in addition to amounts due, any and all costs incurred by the Contractor as a result of such action, including but limited to attorney fees and court costs.
You may cancel this agreement at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this agreement transaction.
By signing this agreement with Area Disposal Service, Inc., I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms & conditions of this agreement, and am authorized to sign on behalf of the customer.
