Failure to report district representatives and submit “District Final Standing Form” / $100 fine if after 10:00 PM on deadline date.
Extensions for determining district representatives / Will not be granted. Season ends on date to name district representatives.
Automatic Qualifiers to the playoffs / All 1st place teamsand teams tiedfor 1st place from each district.
Wild Card Team Selection / Once all automatic qualifiers are named(first place and ties), the bracket will be filled from the remainder of teams in the class based on their power rating.
Wild Card Program / Refer to Rule 19.7, page 122 of the 2015-2016 LHSAA Handbook.
Determining Power Rating / Refer to Rule 19.7.4, page123 of the 2015-2016LHSAA Handbook.

Adopted Financial Arrangements
All Classes / Refer to Rule 19.10, pages123-124 of the 2015-2016 LHSAA Handbook.
Officials used for all rounds of the playoffs / Shall be assigned by the LHSAA Director of Officials in all rounds of the playoffs.
The assignment secretary will contact the host school with the names of the umpires and the game fees.

15 Run or 10 Run Rule / The 15 run rule shall apply after 3 innings of play or the 10 run rule shall apply after 5 innings of play. Rule 19.4.3, page 121 of the 2015-2016 LHSAA Handbook.

IMPORTANT POWER RANKING & BRACKETING

April 13, 2016 -Regular season ends.

  • District representatives reported in all classes.
  • Every team shall report on MaxPreps online all varsity game results played

that day no later than 10:00 PM.

April 14, 2016 - All Classes

  • Disputes of records or power ratings shall be submitted online to between 8:00 AM and 12:00 Noon.
  • After 12:00 Noon, playoff pairings will beannounced online.
